He pulls her string and she’s dancing for him, giving herself and more, subtly and over time his little lies they bite, she’s his now completely to do with as he likes, but she’s oblivious to the strings and she’s not knowing the truth of it, as she’s in love with him, with every part of her and as he’s told her often she’s the one his soulmate and his love forever more, so as he pulls her strings she dances across the floor

Darkness of change
Darkness comes, a wave crashing in my mind Thoughts of pleasure wither Pain in knowing change will come A life and person hurt Thoughts of good times raise a tear Thoughts of children shared Wonder and fear of what might come Decisions that will change my life Tears of fear and worry Time to think and pause Knowledge that in doing I will change my life
Life
Lost in thoughts,
thoughts of her,
thoughts of were it all went wrong,
time to stop this,
time to live,
time for my life to go on
Music of Love #poem #love # music
Headphones on in his world alone, every song is her, every note proof she’s cares, every emotion there’s, time to chill the volume loud, within his head her love profound, time to think, time to dream, that one day soon there are no headphones, one day soon she’s in his arms, the music filling their world, and together dancing locked in love, music filling the souls

First Meeting
As I walk from the plane, my step light, I’m going to see my love, a knot in my stomach, hand sweat, bag heavy with gifts just for her, she’s the centre of my world, but we’ve never met, my mouths dry, heads full of words, passport shown, reason for visit, “business or pleasure?” I’m asked, “oh pleasure” I say “for I’m meeting my love” he smiles and I’m on my way, my baggage collected, it’s slow to appear, and minutes tick by as I wait, she’s waiting just over there, a tear in my eye, I want to run to the gate, but I walk, slow people in front, I round the corner, foreign land but the same, and there’s her standing waiting for me, clenching her hands , I drop my case and run to her, were alone in our world, words gone as I hold her so tight, and I smell her and touch her and squeeze and just look, because now my life is just right
